Karen V. Laux, nee Bambury, beloved wife of Charlie Laux; loving mother of Susan (Ronald) Maede, David (Lisa) and Lynda (Roger) Olinski; dearest grandmother of Bryan, Annette, Jason, Ethan, James, Elizabeth, Austin and David Jr.; devoted daughter of Virginia Bambury; and sister of Patricia (Edward) Taylor; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews; dear sister-in-law of Robert (Ruth) Laux, Carol (the late Art) Costello, Mary (Fred) Bartuch, Diane (the late Mickey) Griffin, Dolores (Tom) Willis and Theresa (Bill) Waide; and a cherished niece of Rose (the late Thomas) Corbett and Joseph (Gloria) Strong. Member of St. Gabriel's Women's Club. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. Gabriel Church Building Fund, 4522 So. Wallace St., Chicago, IL 60609. Funeral Thursday 9:15 a.m. from Thomas McInerney's Sons Funeral Home, 4635 S. Wallace St. to St. Gabriel Church for Mass of the Resurrection at 10 a.m. Visitation Wednesday 2 to 9 p.m. Interment St. Mary Cemetery. 773-268-0703.
