Edith and family: The Lord knows that I do indeed know how you feel at this time, as my dear Peter died of a massive cerebral hemhorage on May 20th. My heart goes out to you and I will keep you in my prayers. Peter and Leif had many great conversations during the years that they worked together at National Security Bank. We used to have such great fun at the bank Christmas parties and picnics. Those were the days. We felt like one big family. The McNeelys and the Lucafos and Frales were at Peter's funeral. Also John Carinato and Barbara Carinato and many of the other girls who worked for Peter. I can picture Leif and Peter sitting around talking with Harry Pavis, Frank and Margie Julian, Joe Rocchi, Cafforetta and all the others who have gone before them. They will have many memories and some great conversations, I am sure. Take care of yourself and take it a day at a time -- some days are diamonds and some are stones. It's hard to lose a best friend and love of so many years. You almost have to learn to live your life differently, all over again. Thank God, we both have wonderful kids who are there for us. We must have done something right! Take care and keep in touch. Sandy Wegmann
