Louise A.M. Schneider, 84, of Woodridge, IL passed, March 15, 2011. Born May 13, 1926 in Neuenhain, Germany, beloved daughter of the late Karl G. Wilhelm and Klara, nee Petry, Preis. She married Frank Schneider, who was at that time, a member of the 82nd Air Borne Division of the U.S. Army who passed in 1984. The Schneider's were one of the founding families of Woodridge, IL. She was formerly employed as a nurse at Edward's Hospital, Naperville, IL. Loving mother of Angela (Sam, deceased) Straus, Chapel Hill, NC, Frank Schneider, Hinckley, IL, Yvonne (Kevin Barnes) Schneider, Plano, IL and Elke Schneider, Plano, IL; devoted grandmother of Erik Straus, Sam Straus Jr., Pamela Schneider and April (JP) Brown; fond great-grandmother of Erika, Brandon, Valerie, and Victoria; dear sister of Angelika Towner, Claire Goulet, Maria Delgau and Erika Thompson; also five siblings deceased. Funeral Service 2 p.m., March 19, 2011, Larson-Nelson Funeral Home, 1010 W. South St. in Plano, IL. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Hinckley, IL.
