I was one of the fortunate who worked with Pat in INA. She was so knowledgeable and outspoken on vital nursing issues. She was a wonderful voice for nurses!

I also had the privilege to know Peg from my own nursing days at Hines VA. Peg always embodied such amazing energy, wisdom and "charm" to me with an underlying sense of mandated toughness to exist in the VA system. I will never forget her. I am now recently retired, but I thankfully recall those strong women who laid the nursing ground work for me.
Peg left a unique legacy which must be remembered!
My condolences to her family.

My heart goes out to Pat (Patsy) and all of Peg's family. I am so grateful for having her in my life. She guided my family through medical crisis and showed us how to live a life of love and service. You will be missed but we are better for your presence in our lives.

I worked with Peg for many years at Hines VA. She was a tireless advocate for all us nurses. She usually had a smile on her face and a kind thing to say whenever you met up with her - but don't be fooled - this 'tiny' person could stand her ground when needed. The world was a much better place because Peg was in it.
