Halpin, nee Kloss, beloved wife of the late John ''Jack'', C.F.D.; loving mother of John, James (Joanne), Deborah (Carl) Vandenberg, Michael (Linda) and Kelly (Katherine); devoted grandmother of 11; dear sister of Eugene (Marie) Kloss and Nancy (late Daniel) Bruzzini; fond sister-in-law of Jewel (Leo) Tarsitano; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Saturday 9:30 a.m. from The Vandenberg Funeral Home,, 17248 S. Harlem Ave., Tinley Park to St. George Church, mass 10 a.m. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Visitation Friday 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. Founding Principal Helen Keller School and Director of Curriculum Kirby School Dist. 140. Member of I.P.A., Delta Kappa Gamma Honor Society, Tinley Park Grandmothers Club, TInley Park Historical Society and S.A.L.T. In lieu of flowers memorials to Breast Cancer Research Foundation. 708-532-1635.

My sincerest sympathy to all that Mrs Halpin leaves behind, she was an inspiration to many when they were very young and didn't even realize that they were being inspired by a great lady. She was good at her craft because she loved it so, she will be missed by many but most of all by those she touched, I am one of many
