Robert Biancalana Obituary

Robert Angelo Biancalana of Cape Coral, Florida, formerly of Chic?ago and Wisconsin Dells, has died peacefully at the age of 88. After graduation from Waller High School in 1944, Bob was a decorated WWII Veteran and German POW. He was a retired salesman for Bagcraft, Inc., and was also employed by Paramount Packaging for over 25 years. Bob was an avid boater and enjoyed water skiing until the age of 70! He is survived by his wife of 65 years, the former Hilda Rose Craig, a retired Forman High School employee, and two sons, Dr. John R. (Jamie) of St. Charles, and Robert P. (Dr. Venette) of Lake Forest, and five grandchildren, Gabriella, Sofia, Rina, Lucca, and Bella. A memorial service to celebrate his life and legacy will be held on a date to be determined.

I was a long time customer of Bob. He was always there for me and really enjoyed his work. He always treated me fair and became a good friend over the years that we worked together. Rest in peace! Prayers and condolences to the family.

I have fabulous memories of Bob and Hilda kidding around and enjoying life with my parents--when they would go out on the town together my Mom was always thrilled to dance with Bob. Having them at my parents' 50th Anniversary party really made the whole night be special-wisecracks and memories shared over the years--one time Bob found a special size tire my Dad needed for a sports car he had (long story) so carried it over his shoulder to my Dad's office and my Dad had to carry it home on the train! That was Bob. My best to you boys-Patti Brunelle
