I'm so sad that I was not told about you passing. The last time we saw each other was at Aunt Marian's birthday party. It was so nice to sit and talk with you and our other cousins about our families and the good times we shared at grandma and grandpa Schmidt's house. I love the photo's you gave me of my family and you said you had more of them for me. I'm just sorry I didn't come to visit with you so we could talk more about the family. I know we discussed how my dad took an big interest in you playing baseball and how you appreciated my dad for that as he also took an interest in Jimmy and Roger when they played high school football. The letter my dad gave to you Ron, the one he received in the mail from Jimmy a few days after he was killed in Vietnam, I hope who ever you gave that letter to will take good care it because it meant a lot to my dad. Sorry I didn't get to say goodbye...Love cousin Vicki

Over 40 years of friendship, laughs and good times. Last Thanksgiving just wasn't the same without our wonderful friend Ron at the dinner table. So many memories to cherish. Heaven definitely gained an angel.
