Ronald "Ron" Timko, 89, of Chicago, at rest February 27, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Merilou. Father of Kevin Timko, and Sheila (Tom) Reibly. Step father of Frank (Ginny) Nelson and Merilou (Don) Grant. Proud grandfather of Kelly, Michael, Arianna, Kiera, Becky, Sean, Phil and Frank. Dear great grandfather of Noelle, Erik, Connor, Tommy, Dominic, Tate, and Blake. Fond brother Marilyn Timko and the late Joseph Timko. Family and friends will meet for funeral mass, Friday, March 3, 10 a.m. at St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church, 8149 W. Golf Rd., Niles. Interment Rosehill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made Misericordia Heart of Mercy Attn: Sister Rosemary Connelly 6300 North Ridge Avenue Chicago, IL 60660. Funeral information 847-998-1020.

My fishing partner while on vacation for many years. So many laughs, memories and good times. Our last trip together at his favorite Minnesota lake was golf, fish, eat, nap then repeat as necessary. I will miss Ron but remember him forever.
