Steve Vrbik, age 87, of McHenry, died Sunday, Sept. 30, 2001. Former truck inspector for the State of Illinois. Politically active as a Republican Precinct Committeeman. Member of Moose Lodge #1329 for 50 years. Beloved husband of the late Geraldine ''Gerie'' R., nee Gertig, Vrbik; loving brother of Pauline (Reinhardt) Steinbart of Mount Prospect, Jerry (Helen) Vrbik of Cedar Rapids, IA and the late Ludmilla Babiar; fond uncle to many nieces and nephews; dear cousin, friend and neighbor to many.
