Whenever I had the good fortune to see Tom Priestley he left me smiling and laughing. He had a great sense of humor.
Tom Priestley impressed me early on for this and the honorable life he lead. He was a man who devoted himself to his wife and children and his country.

My deepest sympathies to Pat, Bill and Jennifer.

I enjoyed working with Tom the better part of the last 20 years and was sorry to hear this news from Pat. I will miss his great conversation, travel updates, and indeed his witty commentary. I admired his service to our Country.

I met Tom in tenth grade, when he moved to Pennsylvania. He was a character then and remained one throughout his life. He and I became close after high school and our respective stints in the military. I always enjoyed his company even though it was limited after he moved to Illinois. I was happy to see him and meet Pat at our 50th HS reunion. I was glad to count him as a friend and wish I had made one more phone call to him before his passing. He will certainly be missed. I am glad he is at peace.

With a smile on my face I will always remember talking with Tom and then being caught off guard with Tom's sharp wit and mannerisms...it would ignite uncontrollable laughter. He was also an avid Maryland Terrapin fan and never missed a chance to rub it in when the Terps beat the weenie-Illini in football or basketball. And Tom courageously served his country in Vietnam fearlessly and without hesitation.
May God bless Pat, Bill & Holly & Jennifer & Juan and comfort them forever with unending memories of my good friend Tom.

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always. Laughter was the best memory. Tom always made us laugh and sometimes he could make you blush and then whatever he said was even funnier. I will miss Tom. I thank him for his service and for being his friend.
