Mathew Evans Obituary

MATHEW EVANS Mat Evans, 43 of San Francisco, CA He passed away November 2nd, 2022 at his family home in Chico. Mathew was born January 9, 1979 in Fort Bragg, CA the son of Bruan and Lynne Evans. Mathew graduated from PV High School in 1997, then went on to Western Illinois University and later Highland University in New Mexico. There he received his Bachelor of Science dee. He was currently working on his Masters degree in History and degree in Counseling. Mathew worked as a football coach and wrestling coach at Sutter High School in Sutter, CA. He was also the youth football and wrestling coach for the Sutter Jr. Huskies. Additionally, Mathew loved fishing and crabbing. Remaining to cherish Mathew's memory are fiance, Lorie Corbin; children Jordan and Max; mom Lynne, brothers Chris (Teresa) Dave (Joi) nieces and nephews, Grace, Reeve and Caden. Mathew is preceded in death by his father Bryan.
