Eugenia Lyons Obituary

CHILLICOTHE: Eugenia Faith Maxwell Lyons, 98, of Chillicothe, passed peacefully from this life February 19, 2010 at Chillicothe Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born December 11, 1911 the daughter of Charles T. and Ethel Heffner Maxwell of Kingston.
On May 16, 1934, she married Robert Bruce Lyons who passed away May 30, 1989.
Surviving is a son and daughter-in-law, David and Linda Lyons; and a daughter, Jeanie Lyons, all of Chillicothe; sister-in-law, Betty Lyons Storts, Grove City, and Norma Lyons Barnes, Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Tonya (Bill Hayes) Caylor, Tim (Nisha) Spurlock, Sarah (Mark) Conley and Patrick Lyons, all of Chillicothe; eight great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; brother, Charles R. Maxwell; and a sister, Helen Kellenberger.
Faith loved to embroider, read and play the piano and organ. She was an accomplished pianist, soloist and as a young woman provided entertainment at various church and community gatherings. She was a 1931 graduate of Centralia High School. Faith loved her family, friends and neighbors and was a wonderful mother and grandmother.
Funeral services will be Tuesday February 23 at 4:00 p.m. at the Hill Funeral Home, Kingston with Rev. Harold Clark of the Whisler Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial at the White Church Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at Hill's Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to a charity of your choice. Special thanks to the staff and residents of Chillicothe Nursing & Rehab Center. Faith's family greatly appreciates the loving care and friendship she was given while residing there.
