Uncle Edward, so happy I had a chance to meet you. My mom Viola and Uncle Willie introduced me once at his shop. I was thoroughly proud of this uncle who had served the country and obtained a college degree. God bless the Whitmore family.

Although I live in MI instead of NY, I'd love to stay in touch with the family. Besides Facebook and LinkedIn, you can reach me at 269-823-4601 or [email protected]. I love you.

The family of John and Viola De Graffenried wants your family to know that we convey our condolences regarding uncle Ed. We will continue to hold you all up to the Father in prayer! May God comfort and keep you all during your time of bereavement.

I am so happy that I met Uncle Ed once, with Uncle Willie and my mom Viola at his shop. He was a gentleman. I marvelled that he had completed his college degree during a harsh time in America.

While I do not live in NY, I'd be happy to stay in touch. My contact information is 269-823-4601 or [email protected]. I'm also on Facebook or LinkedIn. God bless!

Dear Reader,

My name is Larry Batchlor II. I was very fortunate to have Mr. Whitmore in my life. He was there for the good and bad times of my youth; without equivocation he helped me when I needed it. I can honestly say that I would not be alive in the capacity that I enjoy now if he had not intervened. Look up the word mentor; that is what he was/is to me. May God hold him in his everlasting arms.

To the family we will deeply miss Mr. Ed Whitmore Sr. as a neighbor, great father, and role model to many of us growing up on Batavia Street.

"May God, the source of hope, fill you with all joy and peace by means of your faith in him, so that your hope will continue to grow by the power of the Holy Spirit." (Romans 15:13).
