Judith L. "Judy" Myers, 82, Gas City, passed away at 1:20 am on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Twin City Healthcare. She was born in Fairmount, Indiana, on Tuesday, February 24, 1942, to John and Betty (Johnson) Bannister. On January 9, 1960, she married James Myers and he survives.
Judy attended Fairmount High School and had worked at RCA for over 30 years. She was a member of Fairmount Baptist Church. She enjoyed golfing, golf cart rides and going to the Gas City Concerts in the Park and Gospel concerts. Judy loved being a housewife, and most of all, being around her grandkids and great-grandkids.
Survivors include her husband, James Myers of Gas City; son, James "Duke" Myers, Jr. of Camby; grandson, John (Heather) Myers; granddaughters, Sasha Myers, Sunny Andrews; great-grandsons, Chase Nevaro, Jasic, and Jeric; and sisters, Rebecca (Frank) Sigler, Virginia Ann (Rick) Ricks.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Betty Bannister; daughter, Cindy McComas; brother, John Bannister; and sister, Carolyn Gilbert.
The family will receive visitors from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St, Gas City, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Judy's life will begin at 12:00 pm. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Alzheimer's Association 50 E. 91st St., Ste. 100, Indianapolis, IN 46240.

I had the privilege of taking care of Judy when she became ill. She was a sweetheart and I wish I could of known her before she became ill. Sending prayers to Jim her husband and all her family.
