Carl "Dennis" Castle

1947 - 2022

Carl "Dennis" Castle, 75, of Crystal River, Florida passed away Sunday, December 18, 2022. Mr. Castle was born February 23, 1947 in Kingsport, Tennessee to the late Carl Willard and Zella Elizabeth (Williams) Castle.

Dennis had moved to Citrus County with his family 37 years ago from Clearwater, Florida and was a retired business owner of Citrus Aluminum and Home Improvement. He proudly served our country in the United States Army.

Mr. Castle loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and family.

NASCAR, watching the Bucs play, and working on his 1964 Corvette were just a few passions of his. Dennis always loved helping people and giving his best advice. In the late '80s, he was President of Shark's football and very active in Crystal River Little League.

In addition to his parents Mr. Castle was preceded in death by his siblings, Frank Nickels, Carol Harrison, and Sandra Douglas Edmunds. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Mrs. Pamela J. Castle, his son, Dennis Castle and Fiancé Emily Childs, three daughters, Christy (Tony) Winebrenner, Denise (Bob) Blair, and Mindy (J.J.) Cournoyer, brother, Curtis Castle and sister Cheryl Castle, 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 23rd from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. with services starting at 11 a.m. at Strickland Funeral Home, Crystal River. Interment to follow with honors at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
