Robert ROTTINGHAUS Obituary

ROTTINGHAUS Robert B. "Bob", loving husband of Cynthia "Cindy" (Ehmann) Rottinghaus; devoted father of Mark B. (Christine) Rottinghaus. Also survived by two grandchildren Meredith Mosser and Eric Rottinghaus. Passed away Sunday, September 15, 2002, at age 81. Bob was preceeded in death by his first wife Adelaide A. "Sid" Rottinghaus and his parents Raymond B. and Hazel (Miller) Rottinghaus to which he was born on March 26, 1921. He was a resident of Aurora, IN. Bob was retired from the City of Cincinnati Recreational Department after 25 yrs. He was an avid golfer, a member of the Northwest Kiwanis Club, the Kolping Society, North College Hill American Legion Post # 670, served for the U.S. Naval Aviators as a pilot trainer during WWII, and was a member of the Propeller Squadron. He enjoyed antiquing, working in his yard, and taking day trips with his wife. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-8 P.M. at Neidhard-Hensley Funeral Home, 7401 Hamilton Av., Mt. Healthy, OH. Funeral services will be Thursday, September 19, 2002 at 11 A.M. at St. Paul United Church of Christ, 6997 Hamilton Ave., North College Hill, OH, with visitation at the church one hour prior to service time. Entombment to follow in Arlington Memorial Gardens, Mt. Healthy, OH with full military honor preformed by Wesley Warner American Legion Post #513. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry of Aurora c/o St. Mary's Catholic Church 203 4th St. Aurora, IN 47001. ALL TIMES ARE CINCINNATI TIME.
