Richard Crisp was the reason I pursued the Furniture Industry as a career. He truly was a great mentor, friend and leader. I miss him dearly.

Richard was a great man. I was fortunate to work with him and for him for about 12 years at Broyhill in Rutherfordton, Broyhill in Marion, and Henredon. He truly was a people person and knew how to treat everyone the same. He loved his family, telling war stories, and riding his tractor. I considered Richard a dear friend that helped me through life. My condolences to Margie Lee, Dickey, and the rest of the family.

I didn't know Mr. Crisp but I salute his service in WW2. Men like Mr. Crisp helped shape America into the nation we have today. Far too many of these vet pass each day...they are a national treasure.
