Leonard D. Scupski, 89, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2024.
He was the son of the late John and Helen Scupski.
Len was born in Wilkes-Barre Twp. He attended St. Joseph's Elementary school and graduated from Wilkes-Barre Twp. High School. He furthered his education at Luzerne County Community College and graduated from King's College, Wilkes-Barre.
Len was employed by Eberhard Faber, Mountain Top, and then Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry, Office of Vocational Rehabilitation until his retirement.
He was a member of Holy Family Parish, Sugar Notch, until its closing where he along with his wife, Jean, were very active members. He was a member of several dart leagues over the years. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing golf with family and friends and was also a member of the PG&W Golf League. He wore many monikers besides son, brother and husband: Dad, Pop, Dziadek, Uncle Brush, Tough Guy and friend.
Preceding him in death were his beloved wife of 63 years, Jean; brother, John and his wife, Florence Scupski; brother-in-law, Joseph and his wife, Dolores Wozniak; nephew, Edward Scupski; and great-nephew, Philip Wozniak.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Cheryl Hillard, Cathy Lanyon (Jim) and Lori Phillips (Colin); grandchildren, Robert Hillard (Kate), Jeanne Hillard (Jim) and Lora Knowles (Bruce); Jacob Lanyon (Erica) and Matt Lanyon; Carson, Hannah and Kelsey (Matt) Phillips; great-grandchildren, Colton, Wyatt and Samantha Lanyon; Bruce and Makenzie Knowles; and very special nieces and nephews.
Services will be private.
Donations, if desired, can be made to the charity of choice in his name.

Condolences on Leonard´s passing.Always enjoyed seeing your dad at the office , discussing golf.He would mention practicing : chipping balls in the backyard.

Dear Scupski family,
I am so sorry to hear of Len's passing. I have such fond memories from Holy Family, seeing Len at mass, dinners,bazaars...he was always there helping and sharing jokes and laughing.
Also, talking with him when he came into RiteAid thru the
