Maryann Reilly, 61, of Nescopeck, died Monday, Dec. 4, 2023, in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Twp.
Born Jan. 9, 1962, in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Frances Ropietski.
In her early years, Mrs. Reilly was employed as a seamstress, and at First Keystone Bank, Berwick, where she was a teller for many years.
Among Maryann's interests were fishing, crocheting, dancing and traveling with her husband. She enjoyed going to the beach and to Orange Lake Country Club and visiting Maryland for hard shell crabs. Above all, she cherished being at home with her family and creating memorable holiday dinners.
Maryann is survived by her husband of 34 years, Robert J. Reilly; two sons, David J. O'Kane and his wife, Angela, Shavertown; and Jason O'Kane and his significant other, Shelly Gavin, Bloomsburg; two daughters, Amie, wife of Tom Zurewich, Doylestown; and Amber, wife of Manuel Melo, Nescopeck; seven grandchildren, Kayla, Tyler, Melina, Jaleyah, Kayson, Abryana and Lyric; brother, Edward Ropietski and his significant other, Sue Bonetski, Nanticoke; and in-laws, Marlene and Bernie Snedeker, Nescopeck; and Robert Reilly, Ashley.
A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the fuenral service at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mayo Funeral Home Inc., 110 Chestnut St., Berwick, with the Rev. Sam Garnett, of Calvary Bible, Wilkes-Barre, officiating.
