I was in shock when I heard the horrible news. Ted was my friend, a trusted friend. I will always remember the cookouts, the football pools, dinners with our wives, the phone conversations, the summer of softball, watching the fireworks, and the great e-mails we sent each other. I will never forget all the good times we spent having a few beers at the local "pubs" where we solved all the world's problems and political concerns. It is truly unfair that such a dedicated family man and good friend was taken from us at such a young age. My sincere condolences to Jackie, Jennifer and Matt. There will never be another guy like Ted. I will miss Ted and never forget him.

An uncle, a brother, a son, and most importantly..my father. He was the best dad I could ever ask for and having to write this hurts me the worst. The memories we shared for the 17 years I've lived will forever be kept in my head and in my heart. You were always the one to help me calm down when I was upset and you knew me so well because we were the exact same person. It kills me not to be able to talk to you right now and I know you'll be so proud to watch me walk across that stage and graduate and grow up to be a man just like you. You were my hero and the best man I've ever met in my life. I love you dad, I'll make you proud. Rest In Peace. Love, Matt.

To the entire family...it will be difficult for me to speak at Ted's service, and I want you all to know how much I cared for Ted. He was my boss (he joked that he wasn't, but he was) but most importantly he was a great friend...like family to me. The past few years when we were both in the office I would come in in the morning and we would sit and talk...business but often about our lives..our families. That what was most important to him. You all may not know that side of our relationship. I could count on him for anything, he always had my back and was there to help me and my family. He always said that was a priority. We balanced each other..and I am feeling unbalanced now..but I know he will always be with me. I will have his voice and his smile in my mind, because I knew it so well. I will miss our morning talks with coffee most, and his help and guidance in making business and life decisions. I am glad to have met him some 20 years ago. I hope you all find peace in the kind words from others, it has helped me so far.

To Ted's family….there are no words but praying you find God's peace in time. Just wanted to share that Ted was someone who made your day just a little better because of his fun wit and friendly ways. He was a successful business man who managed to take time to connect with others; whether it was to say hello or to tease a little just to make you smile. People here in the Jewelcor Building are sure going to miss him. Always cherish the memories of the wonderful husband, father, brother, son, and friend that Ted was.

They say that the good and hard working die young, and that is no exception in your case. A self made man who built a successful company while always keeping your families best interest in mind.

I will always regret not playing one more round of golf with you. Rest in peace, so many people depended on you, and you will be missed for a very long time.
