Valerie Ackerman Obituary
Valerie D. Ackerman, 55, of Bear Creek Twp., passed away suddenly Friday, April 19, 2024, at home.
She was the daughter of William and Barbara Ackerman. After graduation from Coughlin High School, Class of 1986, She attended nursing school at Wilkes-Barre Vo-Tech to be an LPN. Nursing work would continue at home, being caretaker for her parents.
Hobbies included crocheting, reading a good book, flower gardens and a good weekend car ride.
Surviving at home are her sister, Kristin; brother, Eric; furry cat friends; and dachshund, Dash.
Arrangements and on-site cremation are under the care of Miller Bean Funeral Home Inc., 436 Cedar Ave., Scranton.
