William Ulrich Obituary
William "Pudge" James Ulrich Jr., 52, of Bear Creek, passed away Friday, Feb. 4, 2022 in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. Born Dec. 14, 1969 in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of William Ulrich Sr., and Shirley Ulrich. He was a graduate of James M. Coughlin High School and was employed by Latona Trucking Inc. doing what he loved to do.
Everyone who had the pleasure to know him knew what a good man he was. He was hard-working and tough but also a great family man. He would help anyone if they were in need. He was an amazing loving father and husband. He loved cheering for and watching the Las Vegas Raiders, fishing, playing cards, working hard and mostly spending quality time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his loving father-in-law, Donald Mantush Sr.; brother, Brian Ulrich; and grandparents, aunts and uncles.
Surviving are his high school sweetheart and forever love, Nancy Mantush Ulrich; his best buddy and son, Tyler Ulrich and his girlfriend, Bianca; loving mother-in-law, Nancy Mantush; brother, Corey Ulrich and his wife, Margaret; sister-in-law, Sherry Corrigan and her husband, John; brother-in-law, Donald Mantush Jr. and his wife, Heather; very special nieces, Jessie, Elizabeth, Natalie and Avalynn; nephews, Brady and Brian; and aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
The family would like to thank the third floor CV ICU doctors and nurses for their kindness, compassion and loving nature to Bill and his family.
Family and friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at E. Blake Collins Funeral Home, 159 George Ave., Wilkes-Barre.
