I am one of the many Kansas women that Mary Jane Hamilton touched the life of. She was such a wonderful role model. She was so gracious and funny, but always left you with the feeling that you could do the job well done. She inspired all who came into contact with her. I'm so glad she had a wonderful and long life and know the angels are going to be having her show them how her fantastic dishes were made!! We all loved her very much. You were indeed lucky to have such a wonderful Mother, wife and friend.
Sincerely,
Pauline Conley

I do not know your family, but I have to write. I remember Mary Jane Hamilton from when I was in junior high in Topeka and she did a cooking presentation to our Home Ec class. I remember her smile and the ease that she cooked and explained at the same time (something I never could do!) It was many, many years ago, but touched my life and made an impression on me. I'm so happy that she lived a long and wonderful life. I'm sure that your entire family is proud. I hope happy memories from the past carry you through the difficult days ahead.

Hud,

How lucky you were to have had your Mother all these years. She was such a vibrant woman and such a go getter. I can't believe she worked all those years. Your children were also fortunate to have had their Grandmother for so long.

You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Pam

Mary Jane Hamilton served many years on the Advisory Council and Board of Directors for the Jayhawk Area Agency on Aging. She was an avid advocate on aging issues demonstrated through her affiliation with many organizations. Mary Jane and her spirit of advocacy will be missed by those of us in the aging network. It was a blessing to have known her and to have worked with Mary Jane. Jayhawk Area Agency on Aging Board, Advisory Council and Staff, extend our thoughts and prayers for the family.

Mary Jane was an inspiration to us all here at CMS, formerly, HCFA. She knew everyone and everyone knew her. One of my co-workers and I got started at CMS later too, and we always tell folks that Mary Jane has nothing on us, meaning we will be here when those younger than us have already retired and gone.
Personally, I will always remember Mary Jane as a sweet, kind person who always had time to make this world a better place.

Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. May the love of God be with you all during these difficult days. I am a friend of Hudson (Jr), and although I have only known him a shorttime, It is obvious that he came from a special family, which begins with grandpartents he spoke of his Grandmother with loving words. May the love of God comfort you through the coming days.
