As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of God, family and friends. (former student - USM 1991)

Dear Mae and family: My heart is broken as I only learned today of Clayton's passing. He was one of my very closest and most admired friends for sixty years, and as close as I have ever come to having a brother of my own. His friendship and his heritage will be a blessing to me so long as I live. While missing him even more deeply than I do, you Mae as his wife, and you Charlotte as daughter and family can be justly proud of a wonderful husband, father, and Christian minister.

Dear Mae,
Just learned today of Clayton's death on the 15th. He will be sorely missed by many and I am included in that group. He was truly a remarkable man.
