Phil Irby introduced Bob and I back in the early 70s and we became fast friends as we had similar interest and enjoyed many of the same things. Bob was a great salesman I will say that for sure. A mutual friend of ours owned a audio store that was not doing well and went out of business but Bob was able to sell all his leftover merchandise and anyone he sold to was a fair deal and anyone buying always felt they had been treated fairly. Bob had that way about him and he really always was fair with all his transactions. Becca I met you when you were very young so you will not remember me. I Moved away from Jackson so had not seen Bob in many years. Becca, I am so very sorry for your loss. May God Bless!

Becca,
I'm sorry for your loss. I have considered your Dad a dear friend since High School. We went to Canada together. My wife Sally & I connected with him a couple of times over the years. We had just exchanged letters in the last couple of months, and I had hoped to get back to Mississippi to see him. I too feel the loss. Unfortunately, we will not be able to make the service. May he now be in peace.

Becca,
Liz and I were so sorry to hear of your Dad's death. As one of my First Cousins, we used to really enjoy getting together at family gatherings. I also remember that he got me my first summer job at Edgewater Mall in Biloxi. Even though Liz and I are unable to make the service, please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers during this time!

Becca, I am unable to attend Bobby's funeral, as my health is still precarious. My heart and prayers are with you and the rest of the family during this difficult time. Cousin Bobby always had such energy. I can't imagine his not jumping around and/or planning some project!

I am sorry to read of Bob's passing. He was a good manager at Action Island Comics and helped make the business a success. I appreciated his sincere efforts at the store, as did the many friends he made there.
