Edmund "Bo" Parker, age 64, of London, died Friday, May 24, 2024, at UAMS in Little Rock. He was born August 17, 1959, in Patterson, California to Silas R. and Grace Marie O'Neal Parker.
He was a deacon at London First Baptist Church. Bo went by several nicknames but hearing his grandchildren call him "Pa" was his favorite.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, David Alan "Hoss" Parker; and his father-in-law, Gaines White.
Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Carol Parker; a daughter and son-in-law, Samantha and Brent Taylor of Gillette, Wyoming; a son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Rachael Parker of Russellville; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Donna and Chuck McKenzie and Dolores and Tommy Vinson; his mother-in-law, Shirlene White; and four grandchildren, Cruz, Raylee, Isabelle and AnnaGrace Taylor.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at London First Baptist Church with the Bro. Brett Cottrell and Bro. Alan Johnston officiating. Burial will be in East Point Cemetery with Rev. Danny Green officiating under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
The family will received friends Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Green, Maxie Longing, Ernie Longing, Brent Efird, Bob Shockley and Greg Roberts.
