Francis J. (Frank) Konicki, Jr.

Ocean City - Francis J. Konicki, Jr. (Frank) of Ocean City, NJ and Smyrna, GA died peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, July 6, 2021. He was the beloved husband of Kathleen (Burke) Konicki, the loving father of Francis Konicki, III (Jeanette), Christopher Konicki (Amy) and grandfather to Jake and Alaina Konicki. Frank was born in Camden, NJ on July 28, 1944 to Francis Konicki, Sr. and Cecilia (Wojciehowski) Konicki. He was a veteran of the Vietnam war and served in the Army. He worked as a Senior Project Manager for Bovis Lend Lease Corp. for over 30 years. Formerly of Medford, NJ, Frank was instrumental in establishing the LYAA soccer program serving as a coach and director for many years. Frank was a golfer, enjoyed cooking, painting, travelling and living at the Jersey shore but his greatest enjoyment was being Pop Pop to his grandchildren.

His Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Thursday, July 15th at 12 noon from St. Joseph's RC Church, 43rd and Landis Avenue, Sea Isle City, NJ where friends may call from 10:30 am until the time of mass. Burial is private.
