Died peacefully surrounded by his family on January 7, 2013 at his home in Voorhees.

Beloved husband of Shelly (nee Taft); Father of Nicholas; Loving son of Edith Crowley and the late Michael F. Crowley, Sr.; Brother of Michael (Denise ), Terri (Vaughn), Edie (Brian), Joe (Kris), Kim (Dan). Brother-in-law of Pam (Jay), Eric (Bonnie). Loved by many nieces and nephews as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Graduate of Eastern H.S. Class of '83. Self-employed as a hardscaper. Owned and operated Coventry Pavers (DBA) Crowley's Landscaping.

Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Sunday evening from 5 to 8 PM and Monday morning from 9:30 to 10:30AM at St. Simone Stock Church/Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Campus, 178 W. White Horse Pike in Berlin. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 11AM. Cremation will be held privately under the direction of the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory in Atco. Friends and family will be gathering at 54 Fries Lane, Cherry Hill, NJ 08003, the home of Irv and Annmarie Richter, following the Mass. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate memorial donations be made to Cooper Hospital Oncology Dept., 2 Cooper Plaza, Camden, NJ 08103. for info and to e-mail a condolence please visit www.lpwoosterfuneral home.com.

My condolescences to his wife and son. I had the pleasure of playing baseball with Tom in the Mens Senior League. Tom was always a fierce competitor and great teammate. You could tell by how he played how much he loved life. He was always positive, upbeat and always going 110%. Tom came out this past spring and still ran around the field, hitting and catching just like he was before he became ill. He lived the oft-quoted phrase, " Live everyday like it is your last". I'm proud to have known and played with him. I'm sure he is legging out a triple now on the field of dreams.

Tommy will likely be found in the early morning taking the best spot at the Dunkin' Donuts in heaven. Always a warm smile, a crisp joke or tale, and a round of hot beverage to start the day with the guys before the next job. To the entire Crowley Family, please accept my condolences. I was 4 years younger than Tom, but knew him from cutting through his neighbor's yard on Roundhill when I would cut through on my walk from Three Pond to visit my good friend Wil Gardner when we were kids. I enjoyed watching Tom play football at Eastern and admired his toughness. One Fall Saturday afternoon in 1983, a year after Tom graduated, my friend Rich Weiman and I went to the Eastern/Edgewood Football game at Edgewood. We had no ride home, so we started walking. We were wearing our Eastern freshman jerseys. Tom and Shelly picked us up on Rt. 73 in the Mustang and gave us a ride home. We thought we were the coolest freshman in the world. We got picked up by the cool and tough Tom Crowley and the Beautiful Shelly Taft.
In the 1990's I enjoyed playing softball with Tom. Always a fierce competitor and a guy you wanted on your team. Rest in peace my friend.
