I was going through personal belongings of my father who recently died and found this book with a personal note from Walter Crane. Dr. Crane´s date of passing and the date written on this book align with that of a high school student at the time (probably Rancocas Valley) leading me to believe that the book was given to my father (a high school teacher) by him. The gifted book apparently meant a lot to my father - he kept it for over 50 years. Dr. Crane´s legacy is evident in the comments left in his honor. His thoughtfulness and impact preceded his time as a physician, leaving an enduring impression on my father, a remarkable reflection of a then-18 year old. I like to think that the lives we live reverberate across generations by how we engage with and impact others. How we live matters. What we do matters. Walter Crane led an impactful life.

I was terribly shocked and saddened to hear just this week that Dr. Crane had passed. I had known Dr. Crane for 26 years, since I first walked into his Collings Lakes office as a patient. He saw me through some of the most diffcult times in my life, and his caring, compassion, and sensitivity are unmatched and will never be forgotten. My deepest condolences to his family and friends during this challenging time. Vaya con Dios, Dr. Crane: you were one of a kind, thanks for everything

I cried for days after hearing of Doc Crane's passing. He was the best physician my family ever had. If only all doctors could be like him. I hope he is up there having a great time fishing all the best places. He was so proud of his sons. I hope they know how much he loved them. We will never, ever find another doc like him.
