Clarence Roeder Obituary
Clarence was born December 21, 1923, in Evansville. He was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran and was retired from Marathon Oil after 40 years of service. Clarence was a graduate of Central High School and a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church.
Clarence is survived by his wife of 65 years, the former Helen Redding. Other survivors include two sons, Jim Roeder and Charlie Roeder (Carolyn); daughter-in-law, Brenda Roeder; brother, Fred Roeder (Betty); grandsons, Chris Roeder (Jan), Kevin Roeder (Ashley), Mark Roeder (Gina) and Mike Anderson (Heather); granddaughters, Missy Georgette (Chris), Lisa Roeder and Kim Roeder; 17 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Clarence is preceded in death by a son, George Roeder; daughter-in-law, Sharon Roeder; brothers, Wilfred Roeder and Robert Roeder; and sisters, Katie Fiala and Elvira McMillan.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 3600 Oak Hill Rd., Evansville, Indiana, with Pastor Robert Hetzel officiating. Burial will be held at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be 2 until 8 p.m. Monday, March 21, 2011 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, Indiana.
Memorial contributions may be made to Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church.
