Thomas Finan Obituary
Fishers, Ind.
Thomas G. Finan, 60, passed away November 8, 2011.
He was born in Evansville, IN on December 15, 1950. Tom was an ordained minister and evangelist and loved sharing the Gospel message. He was a graduate of Rhema Bible College and Ivy Tech. Tom worked at the Fishers YMCA. He was a Civil War history buff. Tom was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Finan and his sister, Linda Finan.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Finan; son, Adam Finan; daughters, Erin Kim and Dana Jones; four grandchildren; mother, Billie Cole; sister, Nancy Neukam (Jim); brother-in-law, Randy Eidner; and nephews, Scott and Michael Neukam (Mary), along with many other nephews, nieces, and cousins.
A celebration of Tom's life will be held 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center- Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, 9700 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, with visitation from 11:30 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.

I cannot believe Tom has been away from us so long. I think of him often and still smile when I quote some of the things I heard him say.
I look forward to our reunion some day.
May God richly bless Sandra Finan.

I was thinking of Tom just a few days ago - wondering what he did with his life. I grew up with Tom in Evansville. He was a friend who was always good to me. In spite of the tough exterior, he had a tender heart of gold. I am so happy that he learned to expose and share it with a broader audience. Peace old friend.

Tom, is finally enjoying true peace and rest with his Savior. He left enough memories to keep me laughing the rest of my life!

My mother, Beth West, dearly loved Tom and considered him her pastor and dear friend for many years. He touched many peoples' hearts with his ministry. Rest in peace, dear Tom. My sincere condolences to Tom's family and friends.

Many years ago, Tom was a scary tuff guy. Then Christ softened his heart. He witnessed to many of this truth.
Now he will always be in the presence of our Heavenly Father. Like so many others, I will always have fond memories of Tom.
