Shirley Westrick Obituary
She was born November 23, 1947, to Herbert and Mildred (Kleman) Westrick in New Bavaria. She graduated from Holgate High School in 1965. She was a caregiver at the Sunshine Children's Home in Wauseon. Shirley was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, New Bavaria and enjoyed bingo, reading, cross stitch and listening to sports on WNDH radio.
Shirley is survived by her siblings, Sharon Westrick, New Bavaria, Ginny (Phil) Bauer, Napoleon, Joan (Ken) Lanning, Northwood, David (Linda) Westrick, Holgate, a sister-in-law, Deb Westrick, Miller City, brothers-in-law, Bill Miller, Coldwater, Michigan, and Larry Weber, Fowler, Ohio, and many nieces and nephews. Preceding Shirley in death are her parents and siblings, Mary Weber, Eileen Gill, Ruthann Miller and William Westrick.
Friends will be received in the Zachrich Family Funeral Home, 114 William St., Holgate on Sunday from 5-8 p.m. and again at the church on Monday, April 3, 2023, from 9:30 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, New Bavaria with Father Nick Cunningham officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
