David Guinta Obituary

David John Guinta
David John Guinta, son of Barbara Francis Earl Guinta and Robert Anthony Guinta of Stamford, Connecticut, passed away on July 27, 2023, at the age of 58. Though a failing heart took him away from this world, his heart truly was a beacon of light for all who were fortunate enough to meet him.
Dave is survived by his wife, Priscilla, brothers, Kim, Craig, and Scott, and sister Skylar. He was a father to Rob (30) and his wife Hannah (29), Zach (27) and his wife Heather (28), Liv (26) and her husband Joe (27), and youngest son Justin (20), and a grandfather to his four grandsons, Líon (5), Blaze (3), Aodhan (1), and Judah (1). His cheerful demeanor and humor will be missed in the greater Fairfield community, where he was known and loved by many.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, August 1st, 2023, at 7 p.m. at Black Rock Church in Fairfield, CT. This will be followed by a reception with the family.

By the grace of God, Dave´s spirit came to me yesterday as out of the blue I recalled memories of his kind heart. Did not realize it had been one year since his passing. God Bless.

Kim, Craig, Scott and Skylar.
Even now it is hard to believe that Dave is no longer with us. What remains are a lot of great memories.
From his D7s to his snow plow to climbing trees and his all around good nature. We will miss him.

I've known Dave for 5 years doing roadcalls for the equipment he would rent from Sunbelt. He was an extremely hard worker- whether it was the hottest or coldest part of the year he always stayed working long hours. Rest in peace Guinta!

All of these beautiful
memories of a person
everyone loved and
admired.
I wish I had personally
known him. However,
in a small way, I feel I
did...
May God bless him and
all the lives he touched.
Sincerely,

I know this was a long time ago but we lived two houses down back in the third grade in Stamford and I used to play with David and his cousin Keith. I remember to this day jumping in the leaves of the back of his house and playing in the woods all the time. I remember his older brother's vw bug that he painted "ouch" out on a dent on it. It is funny how some things stick in our mind. I lost touch very early on. It seems like he was well loved and that is good to hear. Rest in peace my childhood friend.

David was a good soul. We grew up skiing Stratton with the Guinta family and the Sanfilippo´s have such fond memories in VT with all the Guinta´s. As a young man and adult he took great care of my Dad´s office in Glenbrook, and then did the same for our family home before Mom moved to VA. I remember the last time I saw him at Mom´s. He was so sweet and we laughed about your childhood memories in VT. He gave me a big hug we were both so delighted to reconnect for a moment in our driveway. I know he´s in heaven with his adorable parents. God bless the Guinta family. Our hearts are heavy.
