Edward Alvarez Obituary
Edward, "Eddie" Alvarez died May 1, 2024 at Baptist South Hospital in Jacksonville, FL. Born in Port Chester, NY July 13, 1960 he was the son of Josefa Alvarez and the late Joseph Alvarez.
Eddie is survived by his mother, Josefa Alvarez; his son Joseph (Kelsey) Alvarez; son Jonathan Alvarez; sister Helen (Robert) Moran; grandchildren Isabella and Landon; the mother of his children, Lisa Pellegrino and cousins Alex (Myrna) and Jerry Rey.
A memorial mass will be held, July 13, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at St Ann Church, 501 Naugatuck Avenue, Milford. Arrangements have been entrusted to the GREGORY F. DOYLE FUNERAL HOME.

I remember when me, Eddie and Anthony went to the wrestling matches at the new haven colliseam, Eddie had his dad's brand new Monte Carlo and someone stole the hubcaps, I told him to go to the Chevy dealership on the post road and I would get him new ones, we got caught, this is milford , I miss Eddie and those days

My ole pal Eddie Alvarez, I really wish we had stayed in touch over the years but life has a way of showing up, I'll never forget all the good times we had and abuelas black beans and bacala, I was very fortunate to have you as a friend for as long as I did, rip brother, we will all meet up again one day

Since grahmar school me and Eddie were like brothers, him, Anthony and I were always together, Eddie was a great guy and I am sorry that he's gone, he has a great family, and a new one I met today that any father would be proud of, grandfather too

I went back all the way to grade school with Eddie, what can I say? Me him and Anthony were the 3 amigos, always together, his family were great and I loved his mom's bacala and black beans, I haven't seen Eddie in quite a while but once you love someone, it never goes away, rip brother, hopefully we will meet again
