F. Bishop Obituary
F. Howard Bishop, age 89, of Trumbull, died Friday January 23, 2015 at the Cambridge Manor in Fairfield. Mr. Bishop was born in Bridgeport and was a life long area resident. He was retired from the Finance Department of Sikorsky Aircraft after 38 years of service. Howard was a treasure for the Fayerweather Yacht Club for 30 years, and a former member of the Board of Directors of Sikorsky Credit Union. He was an avid fan of Yale University Football . He is survived by his devoted wife Mildred Burns Bishop, of Trumbull, three children; Mark H. Bishop and his wife Lee, of Seymour , Paul J. Bishop, of Milford and Laura M. Burke and her husband Derek, of Fairfield . Two grandchildren Michael and Kelly Bishop one sister Marilyn Bishop and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Walter Bishop. Friends are invited to attend his Funeral on Monday at 9:00 am at St. Theresa RC Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in Lawncroft Cemetery in Fairfield . Friends may call on Sunday at the Larson Funeral Home, 2496. North Ave, Bridgeport from 3 to 7 pm.

So sorry to hear of Howards passing. I have known Howard for the last l5 years, through Fayerweather Yacht Club. I enjoyed our conversations and appreciated his devotion as treasurer of the club. He will be missed.
