To the Harrington family,
I am grateful that I was able to be with you during your period of great loss. It is clear that Jim loved each of you dearly, and that although he is no longer with us, he had touched many, many lives through his passion for life and his life's work. He created a very bright light through his spirit, and know that he will be pleased that you are taking the light he kindled in you forward in your lives, multiplying its effect in the world. God Bless.

Thank you for being such a wonderful person. You accepted me into your family and treated me as your daughter. It's so hard to say goodbye, but knowing you are now watching over us is comforting. Things I will always remember and cherish... The laugh you had when you were being sneaky. The way you would fall asleep on the couch while watching the race but to wake up in time to see the ending. The slowwww pace you had at eating dinner wondering if you would be done before it was bed time. Talking with you about everything and anything. It was so relaxing and comforting. I will miss that. I am grateful we had a long talk at Lisa's house. I am at peace with you. I love you, your daughter in law, Sandy

You were one of my Instructors(class of 85). Years later you were my Captain on L-4.When i saw you on the street, i'd say hey cap.You of course would remind me that you made Deputy Chief. You had this smile,no one ever had. It was a smile of love an understanding, and i told you you'lle always be MY CAPTAIN and you would smile again and grab my shoulder give it a tap. i'll never forget that smile

A FAMILY PRAYER
Our Father, we thank you for your love and for your many blessings, especially for the precious gift of each other. Help us to show gratitude by loving each other as you love us. Make us understanding and patient with one another, quick to admit our failings and ask forgiveness, generous in sharing the joy and strengh we can give each other. Father give our family lively faith and the courage to share it with those around us. Direct us to the state in life you plan for each of us, and help us to use your gifts to serve you. We entrust our family to your fatherly care. Preserve us from the corruption of the modern world and help us draw closer to share with you the joys of heaven. Jesus, Mary and Joseph, help us to be a holy family. Amen
