Joseph Manganiello Obituary
Joseph Manganiello, age 55 of Trumbull, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 in Bridgeport Hospital with his loving family by his side. Joseph was born in Bridgeport on August 29, 1957 and was a lifelong area resident. He worked as a mechanic for the Water Pollution Control Authority for the City of Bridgeport. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 37 years, Diane (Conte) Manganiello, his sons, Joseph Manganiello and wife Laurie, Jeffrey Manganiello and wife Devina, his daughter, Jacqueline Manganiello, five grandchildren, Thomas, Christopher, Tristan, Gianna and Michael and many close friends. He is preceded in death by mother, Giacomina (DiBlasi) Manganiello, his father, Michael Manganiello and his sister, Mary Louise (Manganiello) Avellino. Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Friday, March 22, 2013 at 9:00 AM in the Parente-Lauro Funeral Home, 559 Washington Ave., Bridgeport and Services at 10:00 AM with the Pastor Roger Fudge officiating. Interment in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport. Friends may call on Thursday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Parente-Lauro Funeral Home. I am so sorry to hear of Joe's passing. I have known him and his sister since we were tiny tots at the Italian Christian Church. I have many fond memories of Joe and Lisa. It has been many years since I have seen or heard anything about him, but I am comforted to know that he has such a large and wonderful family. I remember his mom and dad, the aunts and uncles, and all of the cousins. The reunion in Heaven is going to be a great time of rejoicing. God Bless his family and friends. Much Love,

To the Manganiello family
I'm sadly surprised to hear about Joe's death. As my elderly Mom's landlord, he was always ready to help at a moment's notice, his calm demeanor a comforting way to handle any and every problem without much of a fuss. Joe was a simple man with a huge heart and a quick smile. God bless you as you face the hardest thing a wife, child, grandchild, reltives, and friends can ever go trough: the shoking loss of a loved one... And one so young still...
