Linda Cerino Obituary

CERINO After spending her last days surrounded by her loving family, Linda Cox Cerino, age 64 of Trumbull, passed away St. Patrick's Day, March 17, 2008 at Bridgeport Hospital. She was born in Bridgeport, January 16, 1944 to the late Richard and Helen "Cutie" Timpanelli Cox. She was the devoted and loving wife of Albert Cerino Jr. and the loving mother of Mark and his wife, Debbie of Trumbull, Scott and wife, Lorraine of Stratford, and Todd of Shelton. She was the proud "Nana" of her three grandchildren, Eric, Elisabeth and Matthew of Stratford. She is also survived by many loving relatives and friends. After graduating from Central High School, Linda worked for Singer Metrics and Famous Artists School of Westport. Her favorite role of wife, mother and homemaker began with her marriage to Al and the start of their loving family. While raising her family, Linda was very active in the Daniels Farm School PTA, and the St. Catherine of Siena CCD Program. She also enjoyed doing ceramics with her best friends. When she returned to work, she enjoyed being a receptionist at Ludlowe Realty Group of Fairfield and then at CCM Insurance of Trumbull, where she welcomed everyone with her cheery disposition. In the last 15 years of her life, she enjoyed traveling with her husband and family, especially to Newport, R.I., being a member of the St. Catherine of Siena Ladies' Guild, and caring for and having fun with her grandchildren. Funeral services will take place Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at 9 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10 a.m. in St. Catherine of Siena Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions the McGivney Community Center Adopt-a-Camper Campaign P.O.
