BASSO Lucy J. Basso., age 77 of Shelton, beloved wife of the late Anthony Basso Sr, entered into eternal rest surrounded by her family on Thursday, December 27, 2007 at her home where she lived with her son, Rocco Basso and grandson, Fred Basso Jr. She was a devoted mother to all that touched her life. She was an owner of Anthony Basso Rubbish Removal. She was predeceased by a son, Paul Basso. She is survived by her oldest daughter, Linda B. and her husband, Donald Melodia Sr.; a son, Anthony and his wife, Doreen Basso; a son, Frederick and his wife, Marci Basso; and youngest daughter, Lucille and her husband, Mark Sciarretto. She unconditionally loved her grandchildren, Lucy Basso, Katie Basso, Matthew and Michelle Bernardini, Donald Jr. and Laura Melodia and Nicholas Basso, She had two great-grandchildren, Victoria Basso and Lucy Basso. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Spadaccino Community Funeral Home. 315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe Sunday, December 30, 2007. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Monday, December 31, 2007 in St. Joseph's Church in Shelton.
