Theresa Rutkowski Obituary

RUTKOWSKI Mrs. Theresa C. Rutkowski, age 77, devoted wife for 56 years to the late Richard G. Rutkowski of Milford, passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2006. Daughter of the late John W. Ivan and Cornelia Katherine Rahl Ivan, she was born on October 30, 1928, in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. She graduated at Coughlin High School in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. An active long time member of Christ the Redeemer Church, Theresa was a member of the Church Choir, the Ladies Guild, active member and Chairman of the Ways and Means Committee, and volunteered for the CYO (Catholic Youth Organization). She is survived by three sons, Richard J. Rutkowski, Bruce R. Rutkowski, both of Milford, Chester J. and his wife, Paula Rutkowski, of Ansonia; three daughters, Denise and her husband Daniel Abel, of Milford, Anita Marie Bouteiller of Pringle, Pa., Cheryl Patnaude of Milford; and brother, John Ivan of Wilkes-Barre, Pa. She was a proud grandmother of her 15 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, 10 a.m. at Christ the Redeemer Church, 325 Oronoque Road, Milford. Friends may call on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad Street, on the Green, Milford. Interment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Easton.
