Nanci Heiman Obituary
Born: December 18, 1964 in Elgin, IL
Died: December 18, 2023 in Tarpon Spgs, FL
Nanci died at her Florida home unexpectedly of natural causes. She grew up in Crystal Lake, IL and then resided for several years in Genoa, IL where she raised her son, Nate Hansmann.
Upon meeting her future husband, Tom Munch, of Malta, she moved there where they spent their happiest years enjoying each other's company and their rural life together.
Her son moved to Florida 13 years ago to reside with his new family in Tarpon Springs. She and Tom shared their lives through Facetime and phone which, of course, was not good enough. When Tom died a few years ago and her longtime employer, Zurich International, allowed her to work full-time remotely, she moved to Tarpon Springs and happily joined her family in October, 2022, just as Hurricane Ian hit!
She leaves behind her son, Nate Hansmann and his wife Brittany, her beloved grandchildren Tegan and Turner, 3 siblings-Phil in Penngrove, CA, John in Crystal Lake, Anne Sullivan in Oswego and their spouses and children, stepson Hunter Munch, stepbrothers Neil and Kent Swanson, and her mother Lynn Mullen of Dekalb, and many, many friends.
There will be no services per her wishes.

We grew up 2 doors apart and spent the better part of our childhood playing games and hanging out, while getting into a little bit of mischief at times. THIS is such a complete Shock as we were talking on the morning of Her birthday and later that day she was gone. Sending my Condolences and Prayers to entire Family

I remember her as Anne´s younger sister. She was so sweet as a young girl. She was taken too soon.

This is such sad news. Nanci grew up across the street from me, and I have great memories of her. She was the little sister of my friend John, and always seem to be so happy! I haven´t seen any of the Heimans for many years, but I think of them often. I´m sorry for your loss Phil, Anne and John. I trust you have many good memories of Nancy. My prayers are with each of you.
