Christopher Passon Obituary
TIPP CITY -- Christopher Kelly Passon age 60 of Tipp City, Ohio passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2022. Chris was born on April 23, 1962 in Troy, Ohio to Gerald "Jay" E. and Alberta "Bertie" {Stahl} Passon II. Chris is preceded in death by his grandparents; Red and Cora May "Corky" Passon, George Elmer and Elsie Virginia Stahl and special friend Lori Davidson Myers. He is survived by his parents Jay and Bertie of Leesburg, Florida, one brother, Jeffery "Scott" Passon of Dayton, Ohio, aunts and uncles; Arlene Macy of Arizona, Gail Fair of Greenville, Sherri (Don) Wray of Troy, Ohio, Bill (Terri) Passon of Tennessee, aunt-in-law Joan Stahl of West Virginia and many cousins.
Chris was a 1980 graduate of Tippecanoe High School. In his early years Chris delivered newspapers for the Dayton Daily News. Later, he was employed by Ludlow Cellular for over 24 years, followed by a gratifying career with the Captor Corporation in Tipp City. He was a lifetime resident of Tipp and a member of the Sons of the American Legion. Chris loved electronics, working on cars and singing. He was a very generous person and devoted friend.
Visitation will be 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, Ohio 45371. Pastor Randy Washburn officiating. Burial to follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, St. Rt. 121 Fort Jefferson, Darke County, Ohio, 45331. Contributions may be made in Chris's memory to the Sons of the American Legion Post 586, PO Box 118, Tipp City, Ohio 45371. Online condolences may be expressed at www.fringsandbayliff.com
