Julie Cecil Obituary
Julie was born on August 8, 1962 in San Pedro, CA. She graduated from Carson High School and Cal State Fullerton University and after that she had a 15-year career in Marketing.
Julie's life will be honored with a vigil on Thursday, December 18, 2008, at 3:30 pm at Green Hills Mortuary, 27501 S Western Ave, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. The Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 19, at 9:00 am at Saint Philomena Catholic Church, 21900 S Main Street, Carson, CA, followed by a burial service in Green Hills Memorial Park. Family and friends are then invited to attend a Celebration of Julie's Life at Lupita's Restaurant, 21917 Main Street in Carson, CA. Please wear pink in Julie's honor.

Eric, Bella, and Family,
Julie and worked together at Learning Tree. At one time our desks were separated by just a walkway. I remember when she met you, Eric, and the wedding plans. Bella, I remember when she was expecting you and her delight when you arrived and as you grew.
Julie was lovely and brave. I watched her battle breast cancer with dignity and determination.
I am so sorry for your loss.

I couldn't even believe this when my mom called this morning to tell me the terrible news. I really enjoy teaching Bella swimming lessons for the past 4 or 5 years at your wonderful house. You guys are so sweet and i know Julie will be missed SO much! I am so very sorry for your loss and i wish you guys the best. Please let me know if you need anything. P.S. Bella, baby..stay strong. Your mommy will always be there for you no matter how hard life is going to be and she will ALWAYS be looking down on you.

I met Julie 7 years ago in a breast cancer support group at the Wellness Center. A diagnosis of cancer is very scary but I was able to get through the journey with Julie’s help and the other remarkable women in that group. Julie was a very loving, courageous woman who I had the pleasure of meeting and becoming her friend. She fought her cancer for her daughter, husband and all her loved ones. I was blessed to have known her and love her.
