Marshall, you were the Greatest cousin I ever had. We were only five months apart (in age). It was nice seeing you at the Harper family Christmas parties. I can't believe that you are gone. I will cherish the memories of you in my heart always. I know that your parents Barnett and Jo Harper, all of your aunts and uncles are reuniting with you up in Heaven. Rest in peace Marshall.
Love Always,
Lori Roberts

I met Marshall in the 90s when he returned from the assignment in Croatia. To consolidate his knowledge of Croatian, he registered for a class in my School of Croatian Language and Literature. Despite his busy schedule at work, he took time to regularly attend the class and to work on the assignments in order to master the Croatian language. At that time I also met Sania. Soon after we became friends. It always was a great pleasure for me to meet them at social gatherings and visit them at their home. Now, it is hard to believe that Marshall's life ended so early.
May our Lord grant Marshall peace and joy in His Eternal Home.

Marshall was a unique and special man. I knew him through Sanja, and met his daughters on a few occasions; it was quickly obvious that he was a very proud and caring father. I am so sorry for his loss, especially to the immediate family. May the happy memories comfort you now and always. -Diane

we got to know Marshall many years ago, during his stay in Croatia. With his friendliness and kindness he quickly found the way into our hearts. The memory of him, as a very warm and loving person, will always stay there. In this sad time, we will think of his family and beloved ones.

Our paths crossed briefly in the 1990's with NATO but my thoughts always remain. May God rest your soul.

Dear Marshall, when I get sad I just have to remember that you are still with us but we can't see you. Provide us with support and guidance wher ever you are. I will continue to pray for your eternal peace so you could run and cycle care free throughout gardens of paradise.
