Stanley Johnson Obituary
Stanley Doyle Johnson was born February 9, 1952 in Long Beach to Doyle and Charlot Johnson of Wilmington, CA. Stan was a winter 1970 graduate of Banning High School. At 19 he moved to Japan, where he had several professions including conversational English teacher, radio disc jockey, photographer, land developer, and business entrepreneur. Stan was a great conversationalist and gifted guitarist. He was a world traveler who loved life, his family and friends. Stan passed away on December 22, 2014 in Shizuoka, Japan after battling cancer. He had lived in Japan over 43 years. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Miyuki; mother, Charlot Johnson; sister, Roxane Kean (husband, Kenneth); nephew and niece, Adam Kean (wife, Astrid) and Holly Kean. A Memorial will be held Saturday, January 31st at 11 AM at Wilmington First Assembly of God, 24919 S. Avalon Blvd., Wilmington, CA. Please sign the guestbook at www.dailybreeze.com/obits.
