Alice Rotz

1930 - 2022

Alice M. Rotz - age 92 of Lafayette, Colorado, went to be with the Lord on October 21, 2022. Alice was born in Goodland, Kansas on March 14, 1930, to Edwin and Mary Gafford. She married Carl E. Rotz on May 30, 1950, in Colorado Springs, CO. Alice was employed 20 years with Credit Bureau of Denver. Alice was a talented musician who played the piano and many other instruments. She enjoyed music, reading, gardening and homemaking. She was the mother of three daughters Carol, Jo Ann, and Marilyn; grandmother to Lisa, Todd, Kimberly, Jeremiah, Gary, Michael, and Michelle; great grandmother to Peyton, Michaela, Jackson, Abby, Michael, and Katelyn. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Mary Gafford, husband Carl, brother Alvin Gafford, daughter Jo Ann Zolock and Son-In-Law Barry Morgan. Alice is survived by her children Carol and son-in-law Jerry Evanich of Grand Junction, CO; Marilyn Morgan of Chappell, NE; son-in-law Mike Zolock of Berthoud, CO; seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a very special niece Katherine Gafford who she enjoyed daily phone calls with over the last few years. Arrangements are in the care of Darrell Howe Mortuary, 1701 W. South Boulder Road, Lafayette, CO 80026. Service at 10:00am Friday October 28, 2022, at Darrell Howe Mortuary proceeding to the Lafayette Cemetery at 11:30am.
