Bernice Allen Obituary
Services for Bernice "Granny" Allen, 104, of Corinth, are set for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Magnolia Funeral Home – South with interment in Wheeler Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation is from noon until the service on Wednesday.
Born in Corinth on Aug. 20, 1918, to Jeff and Holly Dalton Cook, Mrs. Allen passed away Saturday, June 17, 2023, at MS Care Center. She was of the Christian faith and a homemaker. She loved crocheting, quilting, word search puzzles, flowers, and being outdoors, where she enjoyed mowing the yard and gardening.
Survivors are her son, Tommy Allen (Sarah); grandchildren, Tammy Reeves and Jeff Allen (Bea); five great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Howard Cook (Ruth); several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Kerry Allen; her parents, Jeff and Holly Dalton Cook; brothers Everett Cook (Bertha), J.T. Cook and Charles Cook; and sisters Velma Howard (Leon), Myrtle Woodruff (Lawrence) and Ruby Rencher.
The family of Mrs. Allen would like to give a special thank you to MS Care Center and staff for the care they provided for her.
Bro. Andy Reeves and Bro. Tracy Stafford will officiate the service.
