Carolyn Wilemon Obituary
BURNSVILLE, Miss. - Services for Carolyn Grimes Wilemon, 73, are set for 1 p.m. Thursday at Liberty Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Corinth.
Mrs. Wilemon died Monday, Jan. 17, 2022 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis.
Born on April 5, 1948, she worked as a substitute teacher and a bail bondsman. She enjoyed shopping, watching westerns, scrapbooking, and putting together photo albums. She was a member of Love Joy Baptist Church.
Survivors are her husband of 56 years, Jerry Wilemon; her grandson, Jerrod Wilemon; her brother, Stevie Grimes; her nieces, Sandra (John) Grimes Moore and Carrie Grimes; and her nephew, Perry Grimes.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Orville and Gaye Floyd Grimes; her son, Jeff Wilemon; and her brother, Phillip Grimes.
Pallbearers are Charles Gist, Barney Dick, Brian Glover, John Moore, and Perry Grimes.
Bro. Jackie Baswell will officiate the graveside service.
The family requests that anyone attending the service to please wear a mask.
Donations may be made in Mrs. Wilemon's honor to the Liberty Hill Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.

Very sorry for your loss. Tho I didnt know her well, Ms. Carolyn was always nice to me. You have to admire a 56 year marriage. I know Jerry will miss her. My thoughts are with him and her family, and her.
