Geraldine C. Williams, 76, of Connellsville, died Sunday, Aug. 7, 2022, in the Canterbury Place, Pittsburgh. She was born Nov. 9, 1945, in Connellsville, a daughter of the late Gardie and Mildred Bailey Craggette. Geraldine was a graduate of the former Dunbar Township High School and she was retired from Anchor Hocking. She was a member of the Connellsville Historical Society and SAC and she was an avid Zumba participant. She was a member of the Rocky Mount Baptist Church. She is survived by her children, Tony Williams and his wife Carolyn of Bowie, Md., Lamont Williams and his wife LaTonya of Seattle, Wash., James A. "Jimmy" Williams of San Francisco, Calif. and Chanel Williams and Shawn Wormack of Connellsville; grandchildren, Cary, Latika, Tamera, Shkysa, Chase and Macen; great-grandchildren, Braylie, Cy, Vaughn and Darshawn; two brothers, Robert Craggette and his wife Grace of Detroit and Donnie "D.C." Craggette of Florida; two sisters, Irene Johnson of Connellsville and Helen Bailey of Connellsville; and sisters in-law, Carol Bynum Craggette of Uniontown, Carol Truley Craggette of Connellsville and Martha Hopson Craggette of Virginia and her beloved pet dog, Cam. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Willie J. "Pistol" Williams; son, Robert "Champ" Williams; sisters, Esther Watson, Florence Craggette, Pauline Ned and Bertha Walker; her brothers, Kenneth, Ronald, Donald, Lester, Paul, Hosea, George, Lawrence, Jackson, Norman, Fred and Floyd.
Family and friends will be received in the Rocky Mount Baptist Church, 110 Poplar St., Connellsville, on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Friday from 10 until 11 a.m., the hour of funeral services with Rev. Nathaniel Milton officiating.
