Isabel Felix

Isabel "Fuzz" (Carrion) Felix of Woodland died Friday, Oct. 6 at UC San Francisco Medical Center at age 76.

Mrs. Felix was born June 9, 1930 in Winters to Francisco and Anna Carrion. She was a life-long Yolo County resident. She graduated from Winters High School in 1948. For 44 years, she worked in accounts payable at Contadina Foods. She also volunteered as a pink lady at Woodland Memorial Hospital.

Survivors include Mrs. Felix's husband of 55 years, Joseph Manuel Felix of Woodland; her daughters, Laura Felix-Lopez and her husband Albert, Roberta Hildebrandt and her husband Donald, Victoria Contreras and her husband Alfred, Cynthia Garcia and Linda Felix-Vidales and her husband Fred, all of Woodland; her son, Joseph Felix and his wife Mary of Sacramento; her grandchildren, Corey and Joe Felix of Sacramento, Erica York and her husband Noah of Auburn, Rick and Robert Galindo, Donald Hildebrandt and his wife Kelly, Kris Ann Canchola and her husband Alex, Chris Contreras and his wife Stacy, Craig Contreras, Keli Garcia and her partner Stu Teuscher, Alyssa Garcia, Brandon Vidales and his partner Brittany Walker and Jennifer Vidales, all of Woodland; 11 great-grandchildren; her sister, Phyllis Pinkston and her husband Doyle of Winters; her brother, Rafael Carrion and his wife Margaret of Woodland; and her sister-in-law, Katie Carrion of Winters. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Ann Yarberry; her brother-in-law, Leon Yarberry; her brother, Eusebio Carrion; and her grandson, Joseph Contreras.

Services: A vigil is scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 12 at McNary's Chapel, 458 College St., Woodland. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 13 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 301 Walnut St., Woodland. Interment will be at Monument Hill Memorial Park. McNary's Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
